Rachel is an Australian-licensed bilingual (English and Cantonese) Speech and Language Therapist. Trained in Australia, Rachel has been working with children with diverse language and cultural backgrounds. She has served in different settings in both Australia and Hong Kong, including local and international schools, hospitals, the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, a community health centre, a private clinic and a non-governmental organisation.

Rachel adopts the child-centred and family-centred approaches. She builds great rapport with children and makes therapy sessions fun, so children can make the most out of evidence-based interventions.

Besides training the child, Rachel actively communicates with parents and caregivers in the family, and teachers at school. By empowering the significant others to take an active role to support the child and maximise their potentials, Rachel hopes to provide holistic and practical support for the child inside and outside the therapy room.
